Saint George’s Day
On 23rd April Vieste celebrates Saint George’s Day, patron of the city. They traditionally eat a “frittata” that it is offered for free to everybody by IPSSAR students, one of the most famous school in Italy. During this very old tradition, there is a “horses ride” also called “Palio”, along Pizzamunno beach just in front of Falcone Hotel.
